SX4 S-Cross Hatchback
Suzuki is well known as a motorcycle manufacturer but the car brand has been enjoying decent success in recent years, thanks to a line-up of neat, well-equipped and keenly priced offerings. The entry-level model in the range, the Suzuki Celerio, is a good-value alternative to the Hyundai i10 and Skoda Citigo, with decent real-world fuel economy from its three-cylinder engine and respectable amounts of space for a city car. The Celerio's bigger brother, the Suzuki Swift, is a Ford Fiesta rival that also piles on the standard kit. It handles neatly, too, but falls down on refinement and interior finish. Suzuki's mid-sized SUV, the SX4 S-Cross, fares better; it has decent amounts of space for the money, and its cabin is neatly finished, making it worthy of consideration if the all-conquering Nissan Qashqai doesn't float your boat. There's also a smaller SUV called the Suzuki Vitara, a fine offering that's a decent rival for the Nissan Juke and Renault Captur. But the same can't be said for the Suzuki Jimny, an old-school off-roader that was outclassed years ago.
