Lombardyexperience? says...

Kia already offers an estate car in the UK; the Cee'd Sportswagon, which is a surprisingly spacious and affordable choice. However, the Optima Sportswagon is even bigger, competing against estates in the next class up.

It doesn't get off to a great start, though, because while rivals such as the Skoda Superb Estate and Ford Mondeo Estate are offered with a multitude of engines, the Optima Sportswagon comes with just one: Kia's familiar 1.7-litre diesel that produces 139bhp.

However, the Sportswagon does come with a variety of trim options and a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes. To help you pick your way through these, discover what the Optima Sportwagon is like to drive and own, and how it compares with the competition, keep reading through our review and we’ll furnish you with all the information.
